Speeding vehicles

Dear residents,

We've spoken with many residents recently in and around the Oakwood, Spondon, Chaddesden and Derwent areas. Many of you have expressed concerns about speeding vehicles on the road at certain times. We like to thank those that raised this issue with us. I would like to just let you know what we as an SNT are planning on doing over the next few weeks to help tackle this problem.

We will be going out with speed guns to the areas most mentioned to us. We'll be doing regular checks in the areas, seeing what speeds people are doing in the area. After we've gathered enough information and intelligence, we'll be looking at a road safety operation in those areas.

If there's anywhere of interest that you feel we should target with our speed guns, please let us know and we'll go and target those areas.
